She was predeceased by: her husband Robert M. Smith; and her parents, Gurney H. Reid and Catherine N. Reid. She is survived by: her children, E. Reid Wade (Joni) of Providence Forge, Catherine Marcum (Garry) of Midlothian and Robert Wade (Victoria) of Farmville; her grandsons, Hunter Wade, Christopher Wade and Benjamin Wade (Maya); and her great grandchild Benjamin.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Ephesus Baptist Church Cemetery (287 Ephesus Church Rd, Dunnsville, VA 22454).
