He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Ray and Sylvia Carter Marshburn; and his brother Michael Wayne Marshburn. He is survived by: his wife Linda Shelton Marshburn; his children, Christopher Marshburn, Robert Hutchens, Jr. (Melissa), Randy Hutchens (Regan), Ryan Hutchens (Lauran) and Melinda Beth Marshburn; and his brothers, Ronnie Marshburn (Debbie) and Donnie Marshburn. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

“We were the last major installation of central heating and air done by Glenn and crew just weeks ago. Glenn and I talked about life and death, and he was devoted to his wife and grandson, Cael, and his children and grandchildren. What a good guy. I’ve known him since he was seventeen, and we were so glad to have him in charge of our home. I will miss him for however long forever lasts. If I make it to heaven where surely he lives now, he will be one of the first people I seek out.”
