It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Britton Maier of Providence Forge, Virginia, who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Ray and Ada Vernelle Britton, Sr.; and her siblings, Gaynelle R. Doustout and Edgar R. Britton, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Lawrence J. Maier, Jr.; her children, Dennis C. Ford, Jr. (Kristina) and Angela Ford Epps; her grandchildren, Tyler and Alyssa Epps; her brother Kenneth R. Britton (Linda); her brother-in-law Gilbert Doustout, Jr.; and her niece Jennifer D. Nolte. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
