It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Marie Doss Bucknam of Prospect, Virginia, who passed away on August 7, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carrington H. Doss and Edna Midkiff Doss; her son Timothy Joe Bucknam; her husband Charles Edward Bucknam; her daughter Susan Marie Grant; and her siblings, C. L. Doss and Betty Rosser.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa B. Coleman (Hardy), Melody B. Fishburne (Chris) and Robert W. McKay; her grandchildren, Timothy L. Coleman (Kelly), Charles J. Coleman (Maureen), Tara L. Gilliam (Sam), Tyler H. Fishburne and Adam C. Grant; and her great grandchildren, Ryan, Jesse, Parker and Olivia.
