He was predeceased by: his son Kenny Townsend; his father Danny Townsend; and his grandparents, Woodrow, Dora Townsend, Kenneth Sr. and Pearlie Giles.
He is survived by: his significant other Crystal G. Townsend; his son Hunter W. Townsend; his mother Judy Ownby (Tom); and his brothers, Tim Townsend, John Townsend, Daniel Townsend, Matthew Townsend, Kenny Krall and Josh King. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Puckett Funeral Home (115 Covington Ct, Farmville, VA 23901). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at 21696 Prince Edward Hwy, Rice, VA 23966. A burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery (707 Prospect Rd, Prospect, VA 23960).
