It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Kenneth Brisentine (Prospect, Virginia), born in Farmville, Virginia, who passed away on May 10, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Tilden and Cora Slagle Brisentine; and his siblings, Edgar Tilden Brisentine Jr., Sybil B. Coble, Nola B. Squier and Doris B. Steenhagen.
He is survived by: his wife Bettye Hensley Brisentine; his daughter Sheri B. Hicks; his grandsons, Rob Hicks (Alison) and Brandon Hicks (Samantha); and his great grandchildren, Kensington, Avonlea Hicks, Harrison and Henry Hicks.
