Bettye Hensley Brisentine Obituary
The memory of Bettye Hensley Brisentine of Prospect, Virginia, who passed away on February 1, 2025 at the age of 90, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Hensley and Elizabeth Garrett Hensley; her sister Patty Kelley-McCombs; and her husband C. Kenneth Brisentine. She is survived by: her daughter Sheri B. Hicks; her grandsons, Rob Hicks (Alison) and Brandon Hicks (Samantha); her great grandchildren, Kensington, Avonlea Hicks, Harrison and Henry Hicks; and her sister Connie Phillipe (late Bill). She is also survived by three nieces, and many dear friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Prospect United Methodist Church (707 Prospect Rd, Prospect, VA 23930). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM at the Prospect United Methodist Church Cemetery (707 Prospect Rd, Prospect, VA 23930).
