He is survived by: his wife Ann Millis Atkinson; his son Raymond L. Atkinson, Jr. (Lori); his grandchildren, Steven Atkinson (Leah), Kimberly Atkinson Petree (Josh) and Ray Howard; his great grandchildren, Jason, Madelyn Atkinson, Hayden and Kylie Petree; and his brother James Atkinson (Wilma).
