He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Vick; his brothers, James, Herbert and Buddy Jarratt; and his uncles, Henry, Eldridge and Hinton Vick.
He is survived by: his wife Penny Smith Jarrett; his children, Todd Jarrett (Carrie) and Jennifer Jarrett Beverly (Keith); his stepdaughter Tonya Kestner; his sisters, Stella Delbridge and Helen Ruth Turner; his grandchildren, Matt Elliott, Meaghan Elliott Geren (Hunter) and Kendall Jarrett Mitchell; his close friends, Jamie Grissom and Cathy Grizzard; his caregiver Teresa Banks; and also Mike Woods.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the E. Alvin Small Funeral Home, Colonial Heights Chapel (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Colonial Heights Chapel of E. Alvin Small Funeral Homes and Crematory (2033 Boulevard, Colonial Heights, VA 23834). A burial was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Merchants Hope Memorial Gardens.
