With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lear Munford Sr. of Prince George, Virginia, born in Petersburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 29, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Munford and Carrie Overstreet Munford; and his siblings, Kathryn Whitmore, Jane Swatts, Paul H. Munford and Clarence Munford.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy V. Munford; his children, Lear C. Munford Jr. and Patricia Ann Munford; and his pet Bridget. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Shiloh Baptist Church, 18310 Halifax Road, Carson, Virginia 23830.
