He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Jackson and Marry Ann Nicely; and his wife Pauline R. Nicely. He is survived by: his sons, Perry W. Nicely (Kathy) of Chesterfield and Gordon L. Nicely Jr. (Judy) of Louisa; his grandchildren, Shane Nicely (Dara), James Nicely (Sue), Shawn Nicely and Angela Clark (Maurice); and his siblings, Robert Nicely and Elizabeth Spinks. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
