She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Hommen and Milly Hommen; her husband James Vacek; and her son Gene Vacek. She is survived by: her sister-in-law Frances Vacek; and her close friend Trudi Gartman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other extended family.
