She was predeceased by: her father Albert Henry Shaw, Sr.; and her brothers, Robert Shaw, Wayne Shaw (Sharon) and Curtis Saunders (Thelma). She is survived by: her husband Melvin Jones; her children, Celestine Shaw of Suffolk, VA, Turkessa Cotten of Spring Grove, VA, Jacqueline Cotten and Dwayne Cotten (Karidah) of Virginia Beach, VA; her brothers, Elder Joseph Shaw (Velma), Bernard Shaw (Jeanette), Ted Shaw and Albert Shaw (Mary) of Spring Grove; her grandchildren, Janiya Cotten, Christopher Cotten, Darien Cotten, Jayce Cotten, Quiri Cotten and Caleb Roundtree; her stepgrandchildren, Richard Pepple and Diamond Roundtree-Jackson; her siblings-in-law, Shirley Brabble (Cassell) of Chester, VA, Betty Saunders (Floyd) of Hopewell, VA and Albert Jones; and her sister Helen Jackson of Hopewell, VA. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
