Carter, John Jackson, Jr. and Cecil; her nieces and nephews, Lakesha Fillmore (Larry), Shanna Parran (Terry), Melanie Thompson (Kevin), Corey Tarrance (Clanae) and Stacey White (Tracy); her brothers-in-law, John 'Jerry Taylor, Jr. (Stella), Alonza 'Lonnie Taylor (Earline) and Melvin Taylor (Maurice); and her friends, Rose Williams, Betty Wooten and Inez Maven.
