She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy P. Yancey and Roy A. Yancey; and her husband Melvin E. Gay. She is survived by: her children, Michael W. Gay (Diane) and Donna G. Edwards (Tim); her grandchildren, Amanda Corrigan (Eric), Ashley Elder (Ricky) and Jeremy Nugent; her great grandchildren, Gabrien Elder, Caleb Elder, Declan Elder, Scarlett Corrigan, Jasper Corrigan, Jet Corrigan, Sybil Corrigan and Evie Ann Nugent; her stepgrandchildren, Faith Rebecca Driggers (Jody), Charity Burnett (James) and David Edwards Seth (Nancy); her stepgreat-grandchildren, Judah Edwards, Hazel Edwards, Ty Driggers, Randy Driggers, Hope Driggers, Leah Burnett and Marielle Burnett; and her niece Marla Fleming (Tony). She is also survived by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
