She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ernest Hawkins and Emma Elizabeth Dawson Hawkins; her husband Jessie William Tanner; and her sister Minnie Virginia Snow. She is survived by: her son William Dawson Tanner (Billy) of Pratts; her grandchildren, Elaina Blair Tanner Wheelock (Bobby) of Capon Bridge, WVA and Jarrod Martin Tanner (Jackie) of Culpeper; and her great grandchild Hayley Grace Wheelock.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Fairview Christian Church, Women's Fellowship, P. O. Box 19, Hood, Va. 22723.
