In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Hazel had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Hazel may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ammon Samuel and Fannie Irene Heatwole (Shank); her husband Vernon Andrew Good; her sons, James Lee Good and Darrell J. Good; and her siblings, Geneva Bowman and Dr. John Heatwole.
She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Karron Morris Good of Aroda and Anna Slabaugh Good Sensenig (Luke) of New Holland; her sister Millie Thompson of Williamsburg; and her grandchildren, Cynthia Renee Dean (Stuart) and James Kevin Good (Sarah). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pike Mennonite Church (31 Pike Church Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
