He was predeceased by: his parents, Doris Batterson and Wilburn Batterson, Sr.; and his sister Mildred Strite. He is survived by: his wife Judith; his children, Vanessa Gibrall (Patrick) and James Batterson (Mitzi); his brother Nelson Batterson (Dorothy); and his grandchildren, Mary Grace, Noah, Patrick and Jake.
