He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Silvis and Josephine Silvis; and his brother Stephen Silvis. He is survived by: his siblings, Vicki Heckman and Murray Silvis (Patty); his sons, Nicholas Silvis (Kathryn), Justin Silvis (Emily) and Jeremiah Silvis; and his grandchildren, Madison, Jackson and Elizabeth Silvis.
