He was predeceased by: his son Mark Daniel Newton; his parents, Marvin Newton and Cora Cowley; his son-in-law Shawn Tomlinson; and his great grandchild Mason Newton.
He is survived by: his wife Judith Newton; his children, Tammi N. Tomlinson, Ted Newton (Patricia), Tim Newton (Jeannie) and Chris Newton (Meera); his grandchildren, Jacob, Tabitha, Amber, Brian, Maddie, Robbie, Mandi, Joshua, Jonathan, Kayla, Megan, Thomas, Stephen, Tiffany and Taylor; and his sister Betty Hurley. He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren.
