It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas James Goasa (Powhatan, Virginia), who passed away on August 6, 2018, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, Ruth Ann Leonard (William), Penny Ann Tunstall (Lawson) and Thomas W. Goasa of Powhatan; his daughter-in-law Patricia B. Goasa; and his siblings, Joe Goasa of Arkansas, Charles Goasa of Mississippi and Jane G. Bell of Mississippi. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
