She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Shelton and Bertha Shelton; her husband Pete Ricketts; and her son Lynn Ricketts. She is survived by: her adoptive son Gene Ricketts (Jennifer); and her niece Linda Merrell (Ed). She is also survived by seven great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
