We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2020, at the age of 83, Robert Robinson Cosby Sr. of Powhatan, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert and Dorothy; and his sister Harriette Ann. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth; his children, Harriette Jamerson (Doug), Robert, Jr., Elizabeth Cosby Cart and Charles F. N. "Hank"; his grandchildren, Justin Jamerson (Tracie), Douglas Jamerson (Kristen), Jeffrey Jamerson (Jessica), Eliza Cart, Eleanor Cart, Walter Henry Cart, Noble Cosby and Brendan Cosby; his brother James G. "Gabe" (Joan); his brother-in-law Charles F. Noble, Jr.; his nephews, Stephen A. Dalton and James G., Jr.; his niece Sarah Bland (Peter); and his cousin David H. Robinson. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
