We are sad to announce that on September 19, 2023, at the age of 89, Rebecca Ellen McAlister (Powhatan, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maephord Smith and Roy G. Smith; her siblings, Verley Covington (TX), Roy L. Smith (VA) and Charles R. Smith (FL); her siblings-in-law, Duncan Covington (TX) and Betty Lee Smith (VA); and her nephew Michael K. McAlister (FL).
She is survived by: her daughter C. Denise Haas (Matt) of Powhatan; her sister-in-law Doris R. Smith (FL); her granddaughters, Rachelle Todd (Will) of Florida and Rebecca Conkey (Ryan) of Florida; and her great grandchildren, William, Erin, Olivia and Andrew of Florida.
