He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Tierney and Claire Tierney; his siblings, Kenneth and Gwen Olson; and his wife Lillian.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick, Kate Lachapelle, Ryan and Pauline; his sisters, Karen Madden of Plymouth Massachusetts, Gail Beatrice of Bridgewater Massachusetts and Patty Johnson of Powhatan, Virginia.; and his close friend Cherie Courtier of San Diego.
