He was predeceased by: his parents, Ransom Morton and Gertrude Morton of Jacksonville; and his sisters, Diane Simmons of Kentucky and Betty Lou Hair of Jacksonville. He is survived by: his wife Mildred Morton; and his children, Deborah Morton, Kent of Petersburg, Virginia, Rocky Morton of Mauriceville, Jerry Morton, Jr., Janet of Chesterfield, Robert Morton of Powhatan, Cindy Morton Sonier (Jerry) of Silsbee and Tammy Morton Kirby of West Orange, Texas. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and twenty-eight great grandchildren.
