It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Marvin Payne Sr. of Powhatan, Virginia, who passed away on March 7, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his former wife Ada Payne. He is survived by: his wife Rosa Payne; his children, Debbie, Sarah, Loretta, Laurie, Donna and Jimmy (Judy); and his stepchildren, Melinda, Tricia and Christopher. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Local Rescue Squad or American Legion Post #186 in Midlothian.
