It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Edward Chaffins (Powhatan, Virginia), born in Staunton, Virginia, who passed away on May 3, 2018, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Louise Clark Chaffins. He is survived by: his sons, Charles Douglas Chaffins (Linda) of Powhatan and James Michael Chaffins (Martha) of Wrightsville Beach.
