It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Franklin G. Adams (Powhatan, Virginia), born in Cumberland, Virginia, who passed away on June 2, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including his parents, Robert Adams and Lula Adams; his wife Lillian Guthrie Adams of Powhatan, his children, Diane Adams Roberts of Powhatan, Franklin G. Adams, Jr. of Midlothian, and Robert Blythe Guthrie Adams of Raleigh, NC.; his children-in-law, Keith Roberts of Powhatan and Nancy Adams of Midlothian; his grandsons, James Atkinson Jr. (Jamie) and Franklin Adams Ill (Trae), and his great grandchildren, Jack, Coleman, and Eva Atkinson. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews; and many loyal long time friends.
