She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Henry and Mattie Workman Tate; her granddaughter Michelle Nolen; and her siblings, Lettie Allison, Robert Tate, Jr., Lillan Oakley, Belle Poole, Laurie Bowman, Hazel Hargis, Nell Gentry, Herman Tate, Hal Tate, Billy Tate and Patsy Jolly.
She is survived by: her daughters, Terry M. Nolen (Paul) of Powhatan and Wanda K. Long (Christopher) of Powhatan; her grandchildren, Monica, Gore (Greg), Wesley E. Nolen, Sr., Savannah A. Jessie, Bethany M. Austin (Robert) and Jake Long; her great grandchildren, Kayla M. Good, Wayne F. White, Trey Jessie, III, Wes Nolen, Jr., Fox D. Nolen, Dylan Austin, Alyssa K. Long and Ayden K. Long; and her brother Hurley Tate. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
