He is survived by: his wife Patty Dailey Veler; his children, Kevin Veler, Shelly Hale (Bruce), Keith Veler (Diana) and Karole Hanson; and his grandchildren, Courtney Lassiter (Justin), Alyse Hilton (Luke), Megan Smith (Trevor), Mackenzie Hanson, Jack Hanson, Natalie Hanson, Maddie Hanson, Hannah Veler and Lauren Veler. He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
