She is survived by: her husband Wayne Knabe; her daughter Cassie Stewart; her stepson Phil Knabe (Mary); her grandson Phillip Knabe; and her brother Wayne Morris. She is also survived by his children; many other relatives and friends.

I was privileged to know her (and her husband Wayne) over a couple of decades working for the Commonwealth of Virginia at the late Beaumont Juvenile Correctional Center and other Department of Corrections facilities. She was a thoroughly professional employee, but moreover, a sympathetic and stalwart personality and a genuine pleasure to work with; she will be missed by many in addition to her personal family and community friends.”
