He was predeceased by: his parents, William Bredemeier and Katherine Bredemeier; and his granddaughter Abigail Renee Bredemeier. He is survived by: his wife Delores Gail; his sister Janice Morris (Wayne); and his sons, Douglas Jr. (Vonda), Donald (Diana), Dennis (Katie) and David.
