Diane Riggins Richmond Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2025, at the age of 79, Diane Riggins Richmond of Powhatan, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James Riggins and Ruth Riggins; her husband Kenneth Richmond; her son Timothy James Glenn; and her stepgranddaughter Danielle Leigh Trevillian.

She is survived by: her daughters, Leslie Ann Quig and Susan Cavedo (Buddy); her grandchildren, Joshua and Brittany; her stepgrandchildren, Lukas, Amanda and Willie; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Cameron, Marshall, Timmy of John, A. J., Daniel, William, Antonio, Marian and Jose; and her children, Robin Smith, Lisa Emory (Danny), B. G. Wilson (Bonnie), Frances Peirce, Kenneth Richmond, Jr., Pamela Sue Richmond, Heather Scott and Katie Emory.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Bennett and Barden Funeral Home and Cremation Services (3215 Anderson Hwy, Powhatan, VA 23139). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Gospel Light Baptist Church (2109 Anderson Hwy, Powhatan, VA 23139). A burial was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Gospel Light Church Cemetery (2109 Anderson Hwy, Powhatan, VA 23139).
