He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Key and Geraldine Key; his son Channing Jamal Key; his grandparents, Herman Brown and Ethel Key; his wife Earica Key; his siblings, Dion Key (April), Sean Key and Tamara Nash (Shane); his mother-in-law Diana Hill of Atlanta, GA; and his grandmother Fannie Brown. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, great nephews, cousins and friends.
