She was predeceased by: her husband Paul E. Bass; her son Jeffery Lawrence Bass; her sons-in-law, Larry C. Byrley and Michael E. Jarvis; and her parents, Andrew Hevener and Hester Hevener of Highland County, Virginia..
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie L. Byrley of Buckingham; her stepsons, Paul Bass Jr. (Bonnie) and Charlie Bass (Brenda); her granddaughters, Jennifer Lawson (Adam) of Powhatan and Stephanie Waycaster (TJ) of Powhatan; her great grandchildren, Blake Waycaster (Haley), Emmalee Lawson (Coby), Jaksyn Waycaster, Tyler Lawson and CeCe Waycaster; and her great great grandchild Emanuel "Storm" Waycaster. She is also survived by her daughter, all of her grandchildren and all of her family.
