He was predeceased by: his father John L Smith Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Smith; his mother Barbara D Cundiff; his children, Ayla Airhart (Collin), Aidan Smith, Brayden and Bella Smith; his stepsons, Joshua Perry (Lexi), Justin Perry (Kaitlynn) and Joseph Perry; his granddaughter Linden Airhart; and his siblings, Ann Marie Brown, Paul Smith (Shelia) and Lee Smith. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Co. 3 Macon Fire District Fire Department or to the American Cancer Society.
