He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard C. Goodwyn and Mary W. Goodwyn; his former wife Jean Goodwyn; and his brother-in-law Ransone Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Goodwyn; his children, Archie Howard Goodwyn Jr. (Wendy) and Mary Elizabeth Whitney (Joe); his siblings, R. C. Goodwyn Jr. and Mary Jane Ransone; his grandchildren, Brittany Goodwyn Fridley (Cory), Landis Clayton Goodwyn, Joseph Paul Whitney Jr. and Anne Elizabeth Whitney (Libby); and his great grandchildren, Easton and Caroline Fridley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
