It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ada Childress Baber (Powhatan, Virginia), who passed away on February 22, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul C. Baber; and her daughter Mary Elizabeth. She is survived by: her brother Charlie Ray Childress; her grandchildren, Lisa Townsend and Preston "Bobby" Goolsby, Jr. (Lisa); her great grandchildren, Jesse Lee Townsend, Rileigh Goolsby, Taylor Goolsby, John Townsend and Amanda Townsend; her great great grandchild Jesse L. Townsend; and her friends, Jean Cook and Doris Chandler. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
