He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Shortridge and Velvie McGlothlin Shortridge. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Danny Shortridge and Jennifer Shortridge; and his sisters, Marie Shortridge and Mae Shortridge Pack. He is also survived by one aunt and numerous cousins.
