He is survived by: his wife Carol Cordle; his son Jimmy Sam Cordle, Jr. (Cindy) of Cedar Bluff, VA; his sisters, Janice Franklin (Walter Franklin) of Pounding Mill, VA and Kathy Ratliff (Boyd) of Richlands, VA; his grandchildren, Nicolette "Nikki" Vassar (Donald "Donnie") of Murfreesboro, TN, Austin Cordle (Katherine) of Atlanta, GA, Matthew Cantrell of Murfreesboro, TN and Amber Cordle (Danny Anderson) of Cedar Bluff, VA; his great grandchildren, Logan, Braelynn, Tyler, Dylan, Ryan and Lilly; his son-in-law Mark Cantrell; and his sister-in-law Judy Massie Cordle. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
