He was predeceased by: his parents, James Samuel Boyd, Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Keene Boyd; and his brothers, Henry Starlin White and Hubert Arlin White. He is survived by: his wife Mary Hickman Boyd of Pounding Mill, VA.; his sisters, Naomi Horn and Mable Horn of San Antonia, TX; and his siblings-in-law, Martha Ann Huffman and Michael B. Hickman (Ann).
