He was predeceased by: his parents, James E. Pelfrey and Ruth Clarke Pelfrey; and his son Brian Neil Pelfrey. He is survived by: his wife Cindy Pelfrey of Norton, Virginia.; his children, Tracy Todd Pelfrey (April) of Mary Ester and Jamala Renee' Pelfrey (Jeremy) of Whitesburg, Kentucky.; his stepchildren, James Bass of Norton, Virgina. and Ciji Bass-Harris (Sam) of Norton, Virgina.; his grandchildren, Morgan Pelfrey, Jaylah Fuller, Malakye Harris, Khloe Harris, Keighlee Bass, Annebell Bass and Breighlee Bass; and his caregiver Rita Pratt of Jenkins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Northcutt & Son Home For Funerals, Inc. (400 Fraley Dr, Morehead, KY 40351). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at the Clark Cemetery (100 Bradley Cemetery Rd, Olive Hill, KY 41164).
