We are sad to announce that on September 9, 2021, at the age of 65, James Daniel Church Sr. of Pound, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carson Church and Gustava Moore Church; his former wife Freda Pilkenton Church; his siblings, Kyle Church and Mildred Church; and his brother-in-law Frank Bowman.
He is survived by: his sons, James Daniel Church, Jr. (Tracy) of Morristown, TN and Joshua Church of Wise, VA; his granddaughter Brooklyn Church; his siblings, Elizabeth Bowman of Abingdon, VA, Ruth Skelton (Alex) of Kingsport, TN and Larry Church (JoLinda) of Pound, VA; his fiancée Tamara Cantrell; his partner's sons, Christopher Cantrell and Daniel Cantrell; his grandson Elijah Cantrell; and his niece Mia Eve Carico. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Pound Rescue Squad or to Wise Church of God.
