She was predeceased by: her parents, John Greer and Mildred Dorothy Creighton; her husband Milton Joseph Wood (Bud); her sister Susan Creighton; and her grandson Bryant Picou.

She is survived by: her children, Sharon M. Brango (Nicholas Jr.) and Michael J. Wood (Cheryl) of Potomac Falls; her great grandchild Nicole Weirick (David); her grandchildren, Delaney and Molly; and her sons, Brody of Stephenson, VA, Morgan Miller (Eric) of Charlotte, NC and Mitchell Wood of Potomac Falls, VA. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
