It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfredo Evaldo Casta-Velez of Potomac Falls, Virginia, who passed away on July 14, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfredo Casta Martinez and Haydee Velez Seda; his children, Alfred (Enid), Heidi (Héctor), Ingrid (Jose) and Gretchen (Matt); his grandchildren, Nicole, Pablo, Miguel, Amanda, Diego, Alfredo Gerardo, MariCeci, Bianca, Alejandro and Ana; and his sister Dadda. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions* may be made to the Puerto Rico Science, Technology and Research for Public Health Programs in honor of Alfredo E. Casta-Velez.
