She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Ricketts and Ennie Ricketts; and her siblings, Ambrosio, Ernesto, Donna, Diana and Virginia.
She is survived by: her daughter Jannett B. Smith (Donald Smith); her grandchildren, Alberto L. Smith, Brian A. Smith, Alyssa L. Lawrence and Savannah G. Smith; her great grandchild Alexander I. Smith; and her sisters, Berenice Green, Dolores Wilson (Roberto), Shirley Hoyte-Smith (Albert) and Silvia Ricketts. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Viewing was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Metropolitan Funeral Service (5605 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701). A celebration of life was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
