We are sad to announce that on November 1, 2024 we had to say goodbye to William R. Heeter of Portsmouth, Virginia, born in Batavia, New York. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, William is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that William's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Elnora C. Fleeger Heeter and Paul Arthur Heeter; and his brother Jimmy. He is survived by: his wife Anastasia Toth Heeter; his son Paul C. Heeter; and his sisters, Shirley Smith and Kathy Lane.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 4th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Albert G. Horton Veteran Cemetery (5310 Milners Rd, Suffolk, VA 23434).
In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society in lieu of flowers.
