He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Horton and Edith Horton. He is survived by: his children, Ronald L. Horton, Jr., Matthew Horton and Holly Marie Horton; and his siblings, Samantha "Sam" Horton and William "Rusty" Horton. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three special nieces; and a special nephew.
