Medora Donna Walters Obituary
With solemn reverence, we commemorate Medora Donna Walters of Portsmouth, Virginia, born in Hinsdale, Illinois, whose life came to an end on November 19, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Walters; her parents, Kenneth Deedon and Anne Deedon; and her siblings, Dawn Dotson and Donn DeeDon.
She is survived by: her children, Peggy Moss, Suzanne Lee (Robert), John Worrel (Pat), Debbie Childers (John) and Laura Herrin (Charlie); and her siblings, Skip Deedon (Teresa), Marlys James (Ray), David Deedon (Margaret) and Glenn DeeDon (Lynda). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 24th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Portsmouth Boulevard Chapel (5201 Portsmouth Blvd, Portsmouth, VA 23701). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Harvard Brain Tissue Research Center will receive her donation. In lieu of Flowers, donations can be made to the Parkinson's Foundation.
